Starting from Guwahati, the journey takes you through the scenic Himalayan regions of Dirang, Tawang, and Bomdila in Arunachal Pradesh. Explore ancient monasteries, high-altitude lakes, and the Indo-China border at Bumla Pass. The tour continues with a wildlife experience at Kaziranga National Park, famous for the one-horned rhinoceros, before concluding with sightseeing and temple visits in Guwahati.

Day 01 :

Guwahati – Tezpur / Bhalukpong (255 km / 6 hrs)

Meet and greet on arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and drive to Tezpur / Bhalukpong, the gateway to Arunachal Pradesh.

Upon arrival check in to the hotel and relax. The evening is free for leisure.

Day 02 :

Bhalukpong – Dirang (140 km / 7 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Dirang, a scenic Himalayan town. En route visit Tipi Orchidarium, which houses over 500 species of orchids, including rare varieties found in Arunachal Pradesh.

Also visit the Nag Temple and enjoy scenic waterfalls and mountain landscapes along the way.

Overnight stay at Dirang.

Day 03 :

Dirang Sightseeing

After breakfast explore Dirang Monpa tribal villages and interact with the local community.

Later visit Sangti Valley, known for its scenic beauty and seasonal habitat of the black-necked crane.

You can also visit Apple Orchards, Kiwi Farms, Li-ung Gonpa, Kalachakra Monastery, and the famous Dirang Hot Water Springs.

Day 04 :

Dirang – Tawang (130 km / 7 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Tawang, crossing the breathtaking Sela Pass (13,700 ft) and visiting Sela Lake.

En route visit Jaswantgarh War Memorial, dedicated to the brave soldier Jaswant Singh Rawat.

Also stop at the beautiful Nuranang Waterfalls, one of the most stunning waterfalls in Arunachal Pradesh.

Day 05 :

Tawang Local Sightseeing

After breakfast visit the famous Tawang Monastery, a 17th-century monastery overlooking the Tawang Valley.

Later visit Urgeling Gompa, birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, and the Tawang War Memorial.

You may also explore the local craft center known for traditional handicrafts and souvenirs.

Day 06 :

Tawang – Madhuri Lake – Bumla Pass

After early breakfast drive to Sangetsar Lake (Madhuri Lake) located near the Indo-China border.

Continue to Bumla Pass, situated at 15,200 ft, offering stunning views of the Indo-China border region.

On the way back stop at PTSO Lake for photography.

Day 07 :

Tawang – Bomdila (170 km / 8 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Bomdila, known for its monasteries and panoramic Himalayan views.

Visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gompa) and Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gompa).

In the evening explore the Bomdila local market.

Day 08 :

Bomdila – Kaziranga (210 km / 8 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for the one-horned rhinoceros.

Upon arrival check in to the resort and relax.

Day 09 :

Kaziranga National Park Safari

Early morning enjoy an Elephant Safari inside Kaziranga National Park to spot wildlife like rhinos, elephants, wild buffalo and deer.

Return to the resort for breakfast.

In the afternoon enjoy an exciting Jeep Safari through another zone of the national park.

Later visit Kaziranga Orchid Park.

Day 10 :

Kaziranga – Guwahati (220 km / 5 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Guwahati.

En route visit the famous Maha Mrityunjay Temple in Nagaon.
