Cruise through the emerald waters of Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site, onboard a traditional junk boat. Then head north to the mountain town of Sapa, where ethnic villages, terraced valleys, and the towering Fansipan Peak await. Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival at Hanoi International Airport, our English-speaking Driver will greet you and escort you to your hotel in the city center. After check-in (standard time between 14:00–15:00), begin your half-day exploration with a visit to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which offers a fascinating glimpse into the cultural diversity of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups (Note: closed on Mondays; alternate site will be arranged). Continue to a local café near the famous Train Street, where you can watch trains pass close to homes while sipping a coffee (drinks at own expense). End your tour with a green car or cyclo ride through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, followed by a walk to the serene Hoan Kiem Lake. Overnight in Hanoi

After breakfast, drive south to Ninh Binh, a province of lush rice paddies and limestone karsts. First, visit Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital in the 10th century, and explore the centuries-old temples dedicated to the Dinh and Le dynasties. Then proceed to Thung Nham Bird Park, where a small sampan boat takes you through peaceful waterways surrounded by tropical vegetation and home to over 40 bird species. Explore the enchanting Hang But (Buddhist Cave), with its shimmering stalactites, and stroll through a local fruit orchard before returning to Hanoi in the evening. Overnight in Hanoi

Today, transfer by shared shuttle from Hanoi to Halong Bay, passing by the scenic countryside of the Red River Delta. Upon arrival, board a traditional cruise boat and begin your journey through this UNESCO-listed wonder, famous for its emerald waters and limestone cliffs. Spend the afternoon discovering fascinating caves, floating villages, and limestone islets. Participate in optional activities like a cooking class or just relax on the sundeck. Wake early to catch the sunrise and join a serene Tai Chi session on the sundeck. After a light breakfast, continue cruising through the majestic bay and visit more of its highlights. Begin your day with a breathtaking ride on the Fansipan Cable Car, taking you to 2,800 meters above sea level. Visit spiritual pagodas and climb approximately 600 steps to reach the summit of Fansipan Peak, also known as the Roof of Indochina. (Optional: mountain train available for a fee if you prefer not to hike). In the afternoon, trek to Cat Cat Village, a H’Mong community rich in culture and crafts. Pass by a scenic waterfall and the remnants of a French-era hydroelectric plant, and witness traditional textile-making and dyeing techniques. Overnight in Sapa

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning in Sapa before boarding the limousine bus back to Hanoi. Once you return, the evening is free for your own exploration—perhaps shop at the night market or try some street food. Overnight in Hanoi
