Vietnam Discovery – Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Halong Bay, Danang & Hoi An (6N/7D)

Upon arrival at Hanoi International Airport, our friendly English-speaking guide will greet and assist you with the transfer to your hotel in the city center. Standard check-in is between 14:00–15:00; early check-in is subject to availability and additional charges. Later, begin your discovery with a visit to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays, replaced by an alternative site when needed), offering a fascinating insight into Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups and their cultural heritage. Enjoy a refreshing stop at a local coffee shop near the famous Train Street (drinks at your own expense). Continue with a Green Car or Cyclo Ride around the Old Quarter, absorbing the daily buzz of Hanoi life, and make a brief stop at the iconic Hoan Kiem Lake, the heart of the capital. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

After breakfast, depart by private vehicle for Ninh Binh, a province nestled in the Red River Delta, famed for its dramatic limestone karsts and peaceful waterways. Start with a visit to Hoa Lu, the 10th-century ancient capital of Vietnam, and explore the historic temples dedicated to the Dinh and Le dynasties. Continue to Thung Nham Bird Park, a serene ecological zone home to over 4,000 birds of 40 species. Enjoy a sampan boat ride for close encounters and sceni photography. Later, explore the mystical Hang But (Buddhist Cave), stretching 500 meters and featuring stunning stalactites and stalagmites, including a unique Buddha-shaped formation by an underground stream. Visit nearby tropical fruit orchards before returning to Hanoi in the evening. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

After breakfast, transfer via shuttle bus to Halong Bay, passing through scenic rural landscapes dotted with rice paddies and buffaloes. On arrival, board your traditional sailing junk cruise. After a warm welcome by the cruise staff, begin your exploration of the majestic Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover hidden caves, floating villages, and limestone islands, and relax on pristine beaches. Enjoy onboard activities like a Vietnamese cooking class demonstration, and delight in a gourmet lunch and dinner featuring local flavors (drinks extra). In the evening, unwind with onboard entertainment such as squid fishing, movie night, or simply relax under the stars. Overnight stay onboard the Halong Bay cruise.

Start the morning with a peaceful Tai Chi session on the sundeck, followed by a light breakfast. Continue cruising through the spectacular bay formations, concluding with a hearty brunch. Disembark and return to Hanoi by shuttle bus, then proceed to the airport for your evening flight to Danang (recommended flight after 18:00). Upon arrival in Danang, transfer to your hotel and check in. Overnight stay in Danang.

After breakfast, set off for a scenic drive to Ba Na Hills, a hill resort complex offering stunning mountain views. Take the cable car ride to the summit, one of the longest in the world. Explore highlights like the breathtaking Golden Bridge, Le Jardin d’Amour gardens, Moon Palace, and Sun Palace. Enjoy a second cable car ride to reach the lively French Village, filled with European-style architecture and photo spots. Have fun with over 100 free games at Fantasy Park, including the thrilling speed slide. Optional (not included): Access to Wax Museum, Debay Wine Cellar, or Alpine Roller Coaster. Return to your hotel in Danang by evening. Overnight stay in Danang.

Enjoy a relaxed morning. In the afternoon, begin with a scenic drive to the Cam Thanh Coconut Forest, where you’ll experience a fun basket boat ride through peaceful mangrove waterways. Try your hand at traditional fishing techniques like casting nets. Later, explore the enchanting Hoi An Ancient Town, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Japanese Covered Bridge, Tam Ky Ancient House, Chua Ong Pagoda, and the Pottery Museum. In the evening, end your magical day with a lantern boat ride on the Thu Bon River, where you can float your own lantern for good luck.

After breakfast, enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping or relaxing. Check out by 12:00 noon. Our driver will transfer you to Danang Airport for your departure flight. End of services.
