Itinerary
Welcome to Colombo! After arriving, you will transfer to Dambulla. En route, visit the Chilaw Munishwaram Temple, linked to the legend of Lord Rama, and the Manavari Temple, which houses the first lingam installed by Lord Rama. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before checking into your hotel to relax. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at your hotel in Dambulla.
Note: At 1:00 PM, we will depart for Kandy. Our representative will meet and greet all guests and assist with the transfer. If you require a separate transfer due to late arrival or prefer not to wait, you can arrange this for an additional fee. Please ensure your flight arrives by 12:00 PM, as the airport exit process takes about 1 hour.
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before driving to Trincomalee, a coastal city rich in history and sacred Hindu temples. Enjoy sightseeing, including the Koneshwaram Temple, a sacred Shiva temple, the Shankari Devi Temple, one of the 18 Shakti Peethas, and the Kanniya Hot Springs, known for their natural thermal springs. Lunch, tea/coffee, and snacks will be provided en route. After your explorations, return to Dambulla to relax. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at your hotel in Dambulla.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out before driving to Kandy, the last capital of the Sinhalese kingdom and a UNESCO World Heritage site. En route, visit Seetha Kotuwa (Sita's Fort) and the Gurulupotha Archaeological Site, which has links to the Ramayana epic. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up before embarking on a half-day city tour. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and consider attending a Kandy Cultural Show (subject to availability). Enjoy lunch, tea/coffee, and snacks en route. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at your hotel in Kandy.
After breakfast at the hotel and checking out, enjoy Kandy sightseeing with a scenic drive around Upper Lake, a visit to the Market Crafts Centre for local handicrafts, and the Gem Museum to learn about precious stones. Visit the Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple, linked to the Ramayana legend, and experience the tea-making process firsthand at a local tea factory. Drive to Nuwara Eliya, known as "Little England" for its colonial charm. Enjoy lunch, tea/coffee, and snacks en route. Check into your hotel and relax. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

En route, visit Gayathri Peedam (linked to Ravana's son Meghanath), the Sita Amman Temple (believed to be where Sita stayed), and the Hakgala Botanical Garden (former site of Ashok Vatika). Explore Divurumpola Temple, associated with Sita's Agni Pariksha, and visit Ravana Falls and Cave, which are linked to Ramayana legends. Enjoy lunch, tea/coffee, and snacks along the way. Upon arrival, visit the Murugan Temple, a significant pilgrimage site, before checking into your hotel to relax. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at your hotel in Yala/Kataragama.
After breakfast at the hotel and check out, drive to Colombo, where you’ll find a vibrant mix of colonial architecture, bustling markets, and beautiful beaches. En route, visit Ussangoda, believed to be a landing site for Ravana's Pushpak Vimana, Rumasala, the site of the fallen Dronagiri mountain, Galle Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Kelaniya Temple (coronation site of Vibhishana), and Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple, dedicated to Hanuman.
