Itinerary
Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, transfer to Darjeeling (6,950 ft.). After checking in at the hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Wake up early for a visit to Tiger Hill (subject to permit availability). Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, explore Darjeeling’s famous spots, including the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, the Ropeway, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre, and Tea Gardens. The evening is free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
After breakfast, head to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) and further drive to Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.). Return to Gangtok in the evening. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Note: For Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir, carry 2 passport-sized photos and a valid photo ID. For children under 18, a birth certificate or school ID is necessary.
Check out after breakfast and proceed to Lachung (8,738 ft.). En route, visit Naga Waterfall, the confluence of Lachen and Lachung Chu rivers, and Bhim Nala Waterfall. Upon arrival at Lachung, check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Lachung.
After breakfast, visit Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft.), also known as the Valley of Flowers, famous for its stunning flora and yaks. On the way back, stop at the Hot Springs. After lunch, enjoy some free time. Dinner and overnight stay in Lachung.
After breakfast, travel back to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). Upon arrival, check-in and relax at the hotel. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
