Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, transferred to begin your cultural exploration. Start with a visit to the Royal Residence and Royal Garden, followed by a short walk to the Copper Statues of Angkorian Warriors and Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chorm Shrine, where locals pray for blessings. Continue to Wat Bo Pagoda, one of the city’s oldest temples, known for its rare Reamker (Ramayana) murals. Next, experience Cambodia’s creative spirit at the Satcha Handicraft Center, home to over 50 artisans practicing traditional Khmer crafts such as carving, weaving, lacquer art, and painting. The structures themselves are crafted from sustainable bamboo, reflecting local innovation. Later, transfer to your hotel and check in.

After breakfast, set off on a one-hour scenic drive to Phnom Kulen, Cambodia’s sacred mountain and former capital during the Angkorian period. Explore the River of a Thousand Lingas, where the riverbed is carved with sacred Hindu symbols, and visit the revered Giant Reclining Buddha carved directly into sandstone at the summit. You’ll also have time to enjoy the natural waterfalls—a serene spot for a quick dip. On your return, stop at Pradark Village to witness traditional palm sugar production and local handicrafts. In the evening, enjoy an authentic experience at Road 60 Street Market, a popular local hangout buzzing with street vendors, picnic mats, carnival games, and unique Khmer snacks—from grilled frogs to tropical fruits and even insects. You’ll receive a complimentary can of Angkor Beer to enjoy as you take in the sights and flavors.

Following breakfast, begin your temple exploration at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the last great capital of the Khmer Empire. Discover the enigmatic Bayon Temple, famous for its many serene stone faces, and visit the Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Elephants, and Terrace of the Leper King. Before lunch, explore Ta Prohm Temple, left largely in its natural state with towering trees and roots enveloping the ruins—this jungle-clad temple is a favorite for photography. In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Angkor Wat, a 12th-century architectural marvel and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stay until sunset to witness the temple bathed in golden hues—a truly unforgettable experience. Note: Please dress respectfully while visiting temples. Sleeveless tops and skirts/shorts above the knees are not allowed. Smoking is prohibited within temple grounds. Entry to Bakan Tower is restricted on Buddhist holy days.

After breakfast, enjoy your remaining free time at leisure. Later, you’ll be transferred to Siem Reap Airport for your return flight with cherished memories of Cambodia’s cultural treasures.
