Itinerary
Arrive at Cochin Railway Station or Airport and meet the representative. Travel to Munnar, a beautiful hill station known for tea estates. Once a British summer resort, Munnar sits 1,600 metres above sea level. Check in at the hotel for an overnight stay. Time permitting, visit the local market and the tea museum.
Day 2 :
Munnar Local
After breakfast proceed for the full day sightseeing of Munnar - Rajamalai ( Eravikulam National Park : Closed from 20 Jan ) , Mattupatty Dam , Boating in Dam , Shooting point , Eco Point, Top station, Kundale Lake , Tea Museum etc . Return to Munnar town for shopping of Tea , handicrafts , organic strawberry etc. Overnight at Hotel In Munnar.
After breakfast, drive to Alappuzha, known for its scenic backwaters. Enjoy a surprise overnight stay on a traditional houseboat. Cruise through palm-lined canals and observe local life in the paddy fields. Relax onboard, lulled by the gentle sounds of nature. The houseboat anchors in the lake by evening for a peaceful overnight stay.
After breakfast transfer to Cherai. Visit Fort Cochin , Chinese Fishing nets , St Francis Church , Jewish Synagouge , Marine Drive Etc . Proceed to Cherai for Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 5 :
Departure from Cherai
Leisure at Cherai beach. If you are interested, optional tour to Guruvayur temple (directly payable to driver ) After breakfast transfer to Cochin Airport for onward journey with sweet memories of God's Own Country.
