Itinerary

Arrive at Leh Airport (Kushok Bakula Rinpoche) by morning flight, one of the most scenic flights in the world. On a clear day, you'll see distant peaks like K2, Nanga Parbat, and Gasherbrum, while the Nun Kun Massif appears so close you feel you could almost touch it. After arrival, transfer to your hotel and take time to acclimatize to the high altitude of over 11,000 feet. In the afternoon, explore Leh Market, Leh Palace, and the Shanti Stupa. Stay overnight in Leh.

After breakfast, visit Magnetic Hill, Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and the Sangam, where the Zanskar and Indus Rivers meet. Return to Leh for an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, embark on your journey to Nubra Valley, located 125 km from Leh. En route, drive through Khardungla Pass, the highest motorable road in the world, at 5,602 meters. Upon arrival in Nubra, visit the Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy a camel ride, watch a Cultural Dance Show, or take an ATV ride (at your own cost). If time allows, visit Diskit Monastery. After sightseeing, check in to your hotel or camp in Nubra Valley for a leisurely evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra.

After breakfast, drive to Turtuk, a village opened to tourists only since 2010. Turtuk was captured by the Indian Army during the 1972 war with Pakistan. Visit Zero Point in Tyakshi/Thang Village, the last village of India. After exploring Turtuk, return to Hunder for the evening. Overnight stay in Hunder.

Today, we begin the drive to Pangong Lake via Shyok and Durbuk. From Khalsar, take the left route towards Shyok and Durbuk. After Shyok, the road gets steeper, and we continue through Tangtse to Pangong Lake, located on the Indo-China border. Famous for its dramatic color changes from blue to green to red, Pangong Lake has been featured in movies like 3 Idiots and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Enjoy the beauty of the Shyok River and surrounding mountains. Overnight stay at a campsite near Pangong Lake.

After breakfast by the lake, drive back to Leh, passing through Durbuk and Tangtse. En route, stop at Changla Pass for a warm cup of tea before continuing the journey. Arrive in Leh for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your departure. Depart with cherished memories of your remarkable trip through Ladakh.
