Upon arrival in Srinagar, meet our representative at the airport and transfer by Shikara boat to your houseboat. After checking in and some rest, begin your Kashmir journey with visits to the famous Mughal Gardens — Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure) offering panoramic views of the Dal Lake, followed by Shalimar Bagh (Garden of Love). Walk amidst terraced flower beds, elegant fountains, and marble pavilions with the backdrop of the snow-capped Himalayas. Also, visit Cheshma Shahi, known as the Royal Spring.
After breakfast, drive to the picturesque town of Gulmarg, also known as the "Meadow of Flowers", situated at an altitude of 8,800 ft. Known for its old-world charm, Gulmarg is home to the world's highest 18-hole golf course and transforms into a renowned ski resort in winter. After hotel check-in, enjoy a leisure walk to explore the surrounding alpine beauty at your own pace.
Today is free for you to explore Gulmarg on your own. You can enjoy activities such as pony rides, snow sports (seasonal), or take the iconic Gondola Ride (cable car), Asia’s highest and longest ropeway. The first phase takes you to Kongdoori, while the second stage ascends to Apharwat Peak at 3,747 m. Optional visit to Khilanmarg, a charming picnic spot known for its sweeping views and colourful floral meadows.
Note: Gondola tickets must be booked online in advance.
After breakfast, head to Pahalgam, the "Valley of Shepherds", through scenic routes that include stops at Pampore's saffron fields, a cricket bat factory, and apple orchards. Upon arrival, check in and relax. Later, you may opt to take a pony ride (at additional cost) to the serene Baisaran Valley, a beautiful grassy expanse surrounded by pine trees and rolling hills — often referred to as "Mini Switzerland."
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in and around Pahalgam. Begin with a visit to Aru Valley, known for its pristine meadows and as a base camp for treks to Kolahoi Glacier. Next, explore the iconic Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood film "Betaab", surrounded by lush forests, green pastures, and snow-draped mountains. Return to Pahalgam and unwind with a stroll along the local Mall Road, perfect for soaking in the ambiance.
After breakfast, depart for Srinagar. On arrival, check into your houseboat and relax. The evening is free for local shopping, where you can explore Srinagar's vibrant markets for handicrafts, pashmina shawls, and Kashmiri carpets.
Today, enjoy a scenic drive to Sonamarg, the “Meadow of Gold”, perched at 2,690 m. The route takes you through the Sindh Valley, carved by the Indus River and flanked by lush pine forests. Once there, you can take a pony ride (at extra cost) to the Thajiwas Glacier, known for its year-round snow. In the evening, return to Srinagar and enjoy a peaceful Shikara Ride on Dal Lake, gliding past floating gardens, lotus fields, and vibrant houseboats.
After breakfast, check out from your houseboat and transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey — leaving with beautiful memories of your Kashmir experience.
