Tour Plan
Day 01: Arrival at Cochin and proceed to Munnar (140 Kms / 04 Hrs)
You will be picking from Cochin Airport / Ernakulam railway station and drive to Munnar (04 Hrs drive). On the way enjoy some waterfalls and natural scenic spots. On arrival at Munnar check into the Hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay at the hotel will be arranged.
Day 02: Munnar Local
After breakfast, spend the day with local sightseeing. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meters above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Local sightseeing of Munnar includes a visit to Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point, Top Station. Afternoon, proceed to Rajamalai where the rarest species of mountain goat, "Nilgiri Thars", can be spotted. Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar.
Day 03: Munnar to Alleppey - Kumarakom (150 Kms / 05 Hrs)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey - Kumarakom (05 Hrs Drive). Check in to the Houseboat for an overnight stay. Meals will be served on the houseboat only. Alleppey and Kumarakom are small towns situated on a tiny backwater hamlet perched on the western banks of the Vembanadu Lake. The stretch of backwater is spread over 900 sq. km. Choose a canoe, motorboat or houseboat and devour the beauty of this backwater paradise at its best. Overnight stay is arranged in Kumarakom.
Day 04: Cochin local & proceed to Cochin Airport for departure (80 Kms / 3 Hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and proceed to Cochin International Airport. En-route visit Cochin local sightseeing places: Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church, and Chinese Fishing Nets. Proceed to Cherai. Relax at Marine drive. Later drop to Airport.
