Kerala is flanked by the Arabian Sea on the west and the mountains of the Western Ghats on the east. It is undoubtedly "God's own country". This peninsular poetry sits in the southernmost lap of India and extends north-south along a coastline of 580 km with a varying width of 35 to 120 km approx. Imbued in the hot and wet coastal plains gradually rising in elevation to high hills of ever so soothing western ghats. Kerala has access to numerous backwater lagoons and lakes that put a surgeon in the beauty quotient of the place. Vembanadu lake living in the state of Kerala with an area of 260 sq. km turns out to be the longest lake in India.

Day 01: Arrival and proceed to Kovalam
On your arrival at Trivandrum airport, you will be received by our local executive. Proceed to Kovalam for check-in at your resort. Upon check-in, spend your rest of the day relaxing at Kovalam beaches. Visit Lighthouse Beach, Samudra Beach, and Hawah Beach Kovalam.
Overnight stay at Kovalam resort.
Day 02: Day trip to Neyyar Dam & Wildlife Sanctuary
Early morning, proceed to Neyyar Dam. It is approximately 30 kms away from Trivandrum city situated on Neyyar river.
You can enjoy various activities at Neyyar dam and Wildlife sanctuary. You can visit
Lion safari park, Boating, Deer park, Crocodile Rehabilitation and Research Centre, Miniature wildlife sanctuary, Lake garden, Swimming pool, Watchtower & Elephant riding. Return to the hotel in the evening.
Overnight stay at Kovalam resort.
Day 03: Proceed to Varkala (45 Kms / 1 Hrs), En-route Trivandrum local
After breakfast, proceed to Varkala.
Varkala is the perfect place for a holiday getaway to enjoy golden beaches and is also rich with history. Places to visit: The Janardhanaswamy Temple, also known as Varkala Temple is a temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu built 20 centuries ago. The significant feature of the temple is the huge old bell which is considered an oblation to the temple. Timings are 4 am to 12 pm and from 5 pm to 8 pm. Entry is free. Papanasam Beach, also known as Varkala Beach, is one of the best beaches in Kerala because of the view it offers from the cliff-top. Like its name suggests, its water has medicinal properties and is believed to wash off one's impurities and sins. The Samadhi situated within the premises of the beach is the resting place of the great philosopher, Sree Narayana Guru, and attracts many devotees. The Kappil Beach, a little away from Varkala, is a beach-backwater destination. The road splitting the two water bodies [west is the majestic Arabian sea and to the east is the calm and serene backwaters; the backwater and the Arabian Sea, are the treat to the eye.

Day 04: Varkala to Kollam - Ashtamudi (40 Kms / 1 Hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Ashtamudi.
Upon arrival at Ashtamudi, you can enjoy boating at relaxing backwaters of Ashtamudi. Later proceed to visit Munroe Island. Also visit Thirumullavaram Beach, Neendakara estuary, Lighthouse etc.
Later, check in to your resort for an overnight stay.
Day 05: Jatayu Earth center day trip, return to Trivandrum
After breakfast, check-out from the resort. Proceed to Jatayu Earth Center.
Upon arrival, proceed to Jatayu Earth Centre for Cable Car Ride up and down and Jatayu Sculpture Visit. You can also do adventure activities and nature walks at Jatayu Park at a supplementary cost.
You can do the following activities at the Jatayu Earth center:
Cable Car Ride up, Jatayu Sculpture Visit, Nature Walk, Shooting, Archery, Free Climbing, Wall Climbing, Bouldering, Rappelling, Chimney Climbing, Jumaring, Vertical Ladder, Burma Bridge, Commando Net, Valley Crossing, Sidejoola, Log walk & Heli Joy Ride.
You can also opt for Tented Night Camping if you have one more night during the tour. Inform our team if you want to do camping. Later, proceed to Trivandrum.
Upon arrival at Trivandrum, check in to Trivandrum hotel. Later in the evening, proceed to The Padmanabhaswamy temple. The principal deity Padmanabhaswamy (Vishnu) is enshrined in the "Anantha Shayana" posture, the eternal yogic sleep on the serpent Adi Shesha. Padmanabhaswamy is the tutelary deity of the royal family of Travancore. The titular Maharaja of Travancore, Moolam Thirunal Rama Varma, is the trustee of the temple.

Day 06: Poovar backwaters visit & Departure
After breakfast, proceed to Poovar Island. You can enjoy boating in the beautiful backwaters of Poovar. Visit various sightseeing places like mangroves forest, Mother Mary statue, elephant rock, coconut island, floating restaurant, floating cottages. Proceed to Trivandrum airport. En-route visit Aazhimala Siva Temple and Vzhinjam Marine aquarium, Visit Napier Museum, Shanghumukham Beach, Sree Chitra Art Gallery & Kanakakunnu Palace. If time permits, you can explore more tourist places around Trivandrum.
Drop to Airport for departure.
