Tour Plan
Day 01: Start journey to Mahabaleshwar, En-route visit Panchgani sightseeing spots
Early morning, proceed to Mahabaleshwar. Take a break at Wai. Wai is a historically important town. Visit the famous Mahaganpati Temple, Menawali Wes, and Nana Phadnavis Wada. The grandness of these centuries-old monuments gives you glimpses of the Peshwa era.
Later, visit Dhom Dam. The dam is built on the Krishna river holds a lot of water. Enjoy a boat ride, beautiful landscapes, and a cool breeze here. The road from Wai Ganpati to this dam is also nice to drive with small homes and farms on both sides.
Later proceed to Panchgani. Visit Sydney Point, Parsi Point, Table Land Point, Kate's Point. En-route visit Mapro Garden, a popular cafe amongst tourists. You can have your lunch here and proceed to Mahabaleshwar.
Upon arrival at Mahabaleshwar, check in to your resort.
Visit Sunset point in the evening,
Return to your resort for an overnight stay.
Day 02: Mahabaleshwar local
Early morning, visit Wilson Point (Sunrise Point). U need to reach the place at least 15/20 minutes before sunrise n you will be delighted with the rising sun and the color full-sky nature at its best
After breakfast, visit Arthur's Seat Point, Elephant's Head Point, Elphinstone Point, Gureghar Nature trail & Triveni Point, Lingmanala Waterfall. In the late evening, visit Mahabaleshwar Temple, Shri Panchaganga Temple in old Mahabaleshwar. Visit the famous Venna Lake before sunset. Enjoy boating and horse-riding. Return to your resort and relax.
After sunset, visit an observatory for Stargazing. Return to your resort for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Pratapgarh fort visit and depart
Early morning, visit Pratapgarh Fort, This fort is built by the great Maratha King Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This fort is located 20 km away from Mahabaleshwar. Driving through the forest can be an awesome experience. The spiral roads made by cutting through the mountains, the forests of the Western Ghats, and the cool breeze offers a memorable experience.
After lunch, start your return journey.
