Tour Plan
Day 01: Cochin Airport – Munnar via Athirapally
Post arrival, travel to Athirapally.It is considered as land of river,forest and great waterfalls.It is the major attraction and lovable picnic spot. proceed to visit Athirapilly Waterfalls and Vazhachal Waterfalls. These waterfalls are formed on the Chalakkudy River offering scenic natural beauty. Later proceed to Munnar.Â
Experience a beautiful cool drive and you will experience many cool drive on the way namely Vayara waterfalls, Cheeyappara waterfalls, and colorful flowers in the blossom garden. Malakapara Tea Gardens and Thumpurmuzhi Gardens are other attractions of Flora and the fauna of the place. The rest of the day is kept for leisure and an overnight stay is arranged.
Day 02: Munnar sightseeing
We will kick off the day with Eravikulam National Park which provides a home to the endangered Nigari Tahr. Later proceeding would see Mattupetty Dam which has got some mind soothing scenery. Trek lovers can tighten their harnesses and enjoy their passion along with a swish view of eclectic birds. Also, tea estates, eco point, spice plantation, photo point, honey bee tree, flower garden, Hydel Park, kundale dam, and the top station would be our go-to places to end the day. An overnight stay will be arranged for the travelers.
Day 03: Munnar – Thekkady (100kms/3 hrs. approx.)
Head towards Thekkady post breakfast. Hotel check-in at Thekkady to prepare for the remaining day. A later-day highlight includes destinations like Periyar wildlife sanctuary with elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger sightings up for grabs. Mullaperiyar dam’s iconic structure is worth watching. A night stay would be arranged at Thekkady.
Day 04: Thekkady – Alleppey (140kms/4 hrs. approx.)
The fun would keep on striking with a drive to Alleppey. Rightly known as ‘Venice of East’ for its innate scenery, Alleppey would be ready to allure you with its path-breaking artistry, palm-fringed backwaters, and rustic houseboats. Calm your senses with the rest of the day stay in the houseboat. Nightfall would self multiply its own charm with the dinner and sleepover in the houseboat itself.
Day 05: Alleppey – Cochin (60kms/1.30 hrs. approx.)
The penultimate day would take us back to Cochin. Hotel check-ins for refreshments. Day-long attractions will be filled with places like Fort Cochin, navy museum, St Francis church, Chinese fishing net, Santa clause basilica, Mattancherry palace, Jewish synagogue, Marian drive, Marine walkway, boating, Tripunitura hill palace. Ladies can put their shopping caps on for the entire evening in the markets of Cochin. A night stay will be arranged.
Day 06: Cochin Departure
Post breakfast, a drive to the airport would see the end to this pompous journey.
