Day 01: Arrival at Leh, Leh local
Upon arrival, you will be received by our local executive. Proceed to the hotel for check-in. Evening visit- Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace & Market. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 02: Leh - Local - Sham Valley - Lamayuru (Sightseeing completion subject to local time availability and weather conditions)
After breakfast, you drive downstream along the River Indus on Leh – Kargil Highway. And start our sightseeing with Hall Of Fame (Museum Constructed by India Army) near Leh is worth a visit for every Indian, and proceed further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib at an altitude of 3600 Mtrs about 22 Kms from Leh was constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev ji Nestled deep in the Himalayas, A drive of another 4 km will take you to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. As you move ahead from Magnetic Hills, just before Nimmu Village, there comes a famous Sangam (Confluence Of Two Rivers) Indus River coming from Tibet (left) and Zanskar River coming from Zanskar Valley (right). Zanskar River is known for its famous Chadar Trek. Also visit the view of Moon landscape, Lamayuru, and Giant Maitreya at Mulbekh. Later we drive back to Leh.
Day 03: Leh - Nubra Valley
After Breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (the Second Highest Motorable road in the world,18,380 ft). You can take short breaks at roadside cafes and scenic points for photography. On arrival check in to the hotel/camp. Post lunch, enjoy a camel safari (double-humped camel which are found only in Ladakh & Mongolia) at the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. Overnight stay at Hunder homestay.
Day 04: Turtuk day excursion
Early morning, visit Turtuk, a small but beautiful Balti village facing ‘Line of Control’ with POK. Indian Army snatched Turtuk village from Pakistan in the 1971 war. Only in 2010, when the Turtuk village was opened for the tourists. Though a Muslim village, there are a few monasteries located in the region. Mt. K2, the second-highest peak in the world after Mt. Everest. visible on the horizon from the top of the village. The scenic landscapes & friendly people of Turtuk is the highlight of this place. Explore local culture and sightseeing places, you can visit 16th Century Polo Ground, The ruins of Brokpa Fort, a simple Greek-style watermill, Natural cold storage, a 16th-century mosque, Waterfall. Return to Hunder.
Overnight stay at Hunder homestay
Day 05: Nubra - Pangong Lake via Shyok river road
After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake located at the height of 14,500 ft from sea level. Drive of 6 – 7 Hrs. Arrival at Camp, Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color-changing lake and the sunset on the banks of the lake. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake camping.
Day 06: Pangong Lake – Leh
Early morning, enjoy the picturesque view of Sunrise on the lake. After Breakfast drive back to Leh, en-route visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Overnight stay at Leh hotel.
Day 07: Leh Local
After breakfast, you can explore Leh town on your own or visit Hemis National park (Vehicle will go until maximum permitted limits by the authorities. Complete excursion is of almost 3-4 days for Hemis.) or visit Sangam for Water Rafting. Overnight stay at Leh hotel.
Day 08: Departure
After breakfast, you will be dropped at Leh airport for your return journey.
