Tour Plan
Day 01: Cochin Airport - Guruvayur - Athirapally (160 Kms/4 Hrs)
A warm welcome by the GoParyatak representative awaits you at the Cochin airport. Post a tiring flight, proceeding for a small trip to Guruvayur temple (Krishna's own home) will be the day’s highlight. Local sightseeing would be arranged. The alluring night show at Subhash park would also leave you in splits. Later proceed to Athirapally for an overnight stay.
Day 02: Proceed to Munnar via Athirapally falls (140 Kms/3 Hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to visit Athirapilly Waterfalls and Vazhachal Waterfalls. These waterfalls are formed on the Chalakkudy River offering scenic natural beauty. Later proceed to Munnar.
Day 03: Cochin – Munnar (130 Kms/4 Hrs)
Drive to Munnar post breakfast. In transit, take a detour of Thattekad wildlife sanctuary. Ranikallu– Stone of Queen, the waterfalls at Valara and Cheeyappara. Hotel check-ins will be in order for resting purposes. Kicking off the sightseeing with ever so exquisite Rose Garden, Kolukkumalai Tea Estate, and others. Photo lovers can have themselves clicked at the famous ‘Photo Point’. Have a great sleepover at a hotel in Munnar.
Day 04: Munnar sightseeing
Post breakfast, we’ll have a resumption of Munnar diaries. Trekk your way out from Gap Road to Bison Valley Spices Village and from Pothamedu. A halt at Eravikulam National Park and Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary would be apt. meet with nature. Take a sip of serenity Blossom Park and Pothamedu View Point. The tour for the day would come to an end at Echo Point. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 05: Munnar- Thekkady (3 Hrs/90 Kms)
Quick Breakfast and hotel check out. A succinct journey to Thekkady through western ghats with a delightful view of plush waterfalls and spice plantations like vanilla, pepper, cinnamon, clove, etc. Hassle-free hotel check-in at Thekkady. Home to different species, Periyar Sanctuary marks the epitome of nature’s gift to earth. Be ready to embrace the panoramic view at Periyar Lake and Sanctuary Overnight in the hotel.
Day 06: Thekkady to Alleppey (3 h 25 min (138.0 km))
Enjoy your breakfast and be ready for some houseboat experience. A short drive to Kottayam post which the tourists would be accommodated in houseboats. Put on your short and linen shirts as this hour-long journey is indeed a staircase to heaven. You will sail past ancient Chinese fishing nets; water Lilies, lush paddy fields, coir villages, rustic homes, temples, and coconut groves. Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay in the houseboat itself.
Day 07: Departure
Post breakfast, GoParyatak representative would escort the tourists to the airport.
