Visa Requirements for Turkey

Standard Processing: Minimum 7 working days
Minimum Submission Time: Apply at least 10 working days before departure (Mumbai jurisdiction)

Valid Passport (minimum 6 months validity from date of arrival, with at least 2 blank pages)
Color Passport Copies (first & last page, full page, no shadow, no corners cut)
Visa Application Form (filled manually in block letters, blue/black ink, with 1 photo – size 2.5 x 2.5 inch, white background)
2 Biometric Photos (2.5 x 2.5 inch, white background, taken in last 6 months, full face visible including ears & hair)
Covering Letter (typed, not handwritten – must mention purpose, duration of stay, occupation, expenses clause, accompanying persons)
Hotel Reservation (with applicant’s name, check-in & check-out dates, on letterhead with seal, signature & designation)
Round Trip Flight Ticket or Confirmed Reservation
Travel Insurance (mandatory – coverage of minimum EUR 30,000, including medical evacuation, repatriation, accidental death, liability & hospitalization allowance)
Authorization Letter (if application submitted by representative or travel agent)

Salary Slips – last 3 months
Bank Statement – last 3 months (savings account; balance minimum ₹1 lakh per person, signed & sealed by bank)
Income Proof / ITRs – last 3 years
Business / Employer Documents (if applicable):
- GST / Company Registration Certificate (notarized and attested by Mantralaya/MEA)
- Business letter on company letterhead with seal, designation, and signature
For Employees: Original leave letter from employer + salary bank statement (last 3 months)
For Proprietors/Partners/Directors: Company proof showing applicant name, notarized & attested
For Retired Applicants: Retirement documents, income proof, last 3 months’ bank statement
For Students: Letter from school/university + ID copy, last 3 months’ personal bank statement
For Freelancers: Contract documents + covering letter, last 3 months’ personal bank statement
If Sponsored: Sponsorship letter + sponsor’s last 3 months’ bank statement

Invitation Letter from host in Turkey (with invitee’s name, passport number, purpose & duration of stay)
Copy of Host’s ID/Passport
Proof of Host’s Residence (address, utility bill, etc.)
Proof of Host’s Status in Turkey (residence/work permit if foreigner)
Marriage Certificate (if spouse is in Turkey – attested affidavit or wedding card may be required)
Applicant’s Last 3 Months Bank Statement (except for spouses/children)

Covering Letter signed by both parents (even if traveling together)
Consent Letter from both parents (if minor traveling alone) – must be notarized on ₹100 stamp paper with photos of parents & child
Parents’ Passport Copies (first & last pages)

All documents must be current, complete, and in English.
Submitting incomplete documentation can lead to rejection.
Submission of documents does not guarantee visa approval.
The Consulate General reserves the right to:
- Request additional documents
- Refuse application without explanation (no refund)
Separate forms & documents must be submitted for each applicant, including family members.
Visa holders must check the “duration of stay” and “validity period” before travel.
- Entry before visa validity start date is not allowed.
