• Japan Visa Application Form: Visa application form to be filled applicant and the form printout of the same has to be taken and signed by the applicant, signatures of the applicant
• Please note: Applicant mobile number should be mentioned in visa form as Embassy / Consulate can contact the applicant at any point of time during visa processing
• Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum three months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamps, Passports valid for more than 10 years will not be accepted as the main required travel document with all previous passports.
• Please note:
  • a) Attach all your old passports (if any)
  • b) Handwritten passports and Passports with manual entry or observations concerning  the data pages will not be accepted.
  • c) Clear photocopy of the first and last page of the passport.
• Photo Specification: Two recent passport size 50mm x 50mm collared photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 80% face coverage, white background and without border
• Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old, scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas
• Covering Letter: Covering Letter from applicant stating applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose and duration of visit. The letter should be addressed to: Consulate General of Japan, Mumbai.

ESSENTIAL DOCUMENTS:

• Original leave sanction letter 
• Air ticket
• Hotel confirmation
• Day to day itinerary

FINANCIALS :

• Personal last 2 year ITR copy (acknowledgement pages – barcode pages) or Form 16
• Personal bank statement for last 6 months with bank seal & sign
• Salary slips last 3 month

PROCESS TIME:

• Processing time is minimum 5 – 6 working days
