China Visa Requirements

Common Documents (For All Visa Types)

1. Original Valid Passport
   • Valid for at least 6 months
2. Online Visa Application Form
3. Photographs
   • Two (2) color photos (35mm x 45mm)
   • White background
   • 80% face coverage
4. Bank Statement
   • Original, updated bank statement for the last 6 months
   • Minimum closing balance: INR 1,60,000
5. Income Tax Returns / Form 16
   • For the last 3 years

Additional Documents for Business Visa

1. Invitation Letter
   • On Chinese company letterhead
   • Must be addressed to The Consulate General of China, Mumbai
   • Should include:
     • Passport details of the applicant
     • Company profile
     • Details of the inviting company
     • Declaration of who will bear expenses
     • Name and designation of the authorized signatory
     • Signature and company seal
     • Letter must be in Chinese language
2. ID Card Copy
   • Of the person signing the invitation letter
3. Chinese Company License Copy
