Tour Plan
Day 01: Arrival at Cochin and proceed to Munnar (04 Hrs)
You will be received from Cochin Airport / Ernakulam railway station and drive to Munnar (04 Hrs drive). On the way enjoy some waterfalls and natural scenic spots. On arrival at Munnar check into the Hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay at the hotel will be arranged.
Day 02: Munnar Local
After breakfast spend the day with local sightseeing. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Local sightseeing of Munnar includes visit to Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point, Top Station. Afternoon proceed to Rajamalai where the rarest species of mountain goat, "Nilgiri Thars", can be spotted. Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar.
Day 03: Leisure at Munnar resort
After breakfast, spend a leisure day at the resort. Visit the local market if required.
Day 04: Proceed to Ashtamudi (225 Kms / 7 Hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Ashtamudi. It will be a day-long journey. Upon arrival, enjoy serene backwaters of Ashtamudi & Ashtamudi Lake.
Overnight stay at Ashtamudi Resort.
Day 05: Ashtamudi local
After breakfast, proceed to visit Monroe island. Visit Thangassery Lighthouse. Spend a leisure day at Ashtamudi resort.

Day 06: Ashtamudi to Poovar Islands; En-route visit Kovalam beaches
After breakfast, proceed to Poovar Islands. En-route visit Kovalam beaches: Lighthouse Beach, Samudra Beach, Hawa Beach. & Aazhimala Siva Temple. Later proceed to Poovar resort in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 07: Poovar local or Kanyakumari day trip
Spend a day at Poovar. Proceed to Poovar backwaters boating. Visit Poovar beach. Day at leisure.Â

Day tour to Kanyakumari (Total to and return travel of 200 Kms: Extra charges): Visit Vivekananda Memorial, Kumari Amman temple. Return by evening.Â
Day 08: Departure
After breakfast, relax for a while and proceed to Trivandrum Airport. You can continue shopping before the airport drop.
