Day 1 :
Arrival at Thimphu

  • Meet & Greet on arrival at Paro Airport

  • Transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) – the capital city of Bhutan

  • Check-in at hotel, leisure walk around Thimphu City

  • Overnight stay at Thimphu

Day 2 :
Thimphu Local Sightseeing

  • Visit Kuenselphodrang (Buddha Dordenma) – Bhutan’s largest Buddha statue

  • Explore National Memorial Chorten & Folk Heritage Museum

  • Visit Sangaygang View Point & Takin Preserve

  • Blessings at Changangkha Lhakhang

  • Conclude at Tashichho Dzong – seat of Bhutan’s government & monastic body

  • Overnight stay at Thimphu

Day 3 :
Thimphu → Paro → Thimphu (100 km / 3–4 hrs)

  • Drive to Paro, visit:

    • Ta Dzong (National Museum of Bhutan)

    • Rinpung Dzong – fortress & administrative center

    • Kyichhu Lhakhang – one of Bhutan’s oldest temples

    • Drukgyel Dzong ruins

    • View the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) from a distance

  • Evening stroll around Paro Town

  • Return to Thimphu for overnight stay

Day 4 :
Departure from Thimphu

After breakfast, transfer to Paro Airport for onward journey
