Upon your arrival at Hanoi International Airport, meet your English-speaking guide and transfer to the hotel in the city center. Early check-in is subject to availability. After check-in, begin your Vietnam journey with a visit to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays, will be replaced by an alternate site if needed), which showcases the traditions of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. Stop for a drink (at own cost) at a charming café near Train Street, followed by a Green Car or Cyclo Ride around the Old Quarter, concluding with a visit to Hoan Kiem Lake. Overnight in Hanoi.

Today, set off for a scenic drive to Ninh Binh, a province known for its limestone mountains and peaceful rice fields. Explore the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, home to the temples of the Dinh and Le dynasties. Continue to Thung Nham Bird Park, where over 40 species of birds gather – a photographer’s paradise. Take a sampan boat ride through the area and visit the stunning Hang But (Buddhist Cave), known for its Buddha-shaped stalactite. Return to Hanoi in the evening. Overnight in Hanoi.

Depart from Hanoi in the morning via shuttle bus to Halong Bay. Journey through the Red River Delta, catching glimpses of rural life and rice fields. Upon arrival, board your traditional wooden cruise ship and sail through emerald waters dotted with towering limestone islands. Discover hidden caves, floating villages, and pristine beaches. Enjoy a cooking class onboard, along with Vietnamese meals and optional evening activities like squid fishing or movies. Overnight onboard in Halong Bay.

Start your morning with Tai Chi on the sundeck, followed by a light breakfast and delicious brunch. Continue cruising through Halong Bay’s iconic islets before disembarking. The day is free until afternoon when your local exploration begins. Head to Cam Thanh Coconut Forest for a unique basket boat ride through tranquil waterways. Try your hand at traditional net fishing techniques and enjoy the natural setting. Later, tour Hoi An Ancient Town, with visits to the Japanese Covered Bridge, Tam Ky Old House, Chua Ong Pagoda, and Hoi An Market. In the evening, take a lantern-lit boat ride on the Thu Bon River, a magical Hoi An tradition. Overnight in Da Nang.

Check out and fly to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s energetic southern metropolis. Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Begin your day with a visit to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, a vast underground network used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. Discover hidden entrances, booby traps, underground shelters, and even try crawling through a tunnel yourself. You can also try shooting with real firearms (optional, extra charge).
Return to Ho Chi Minh City for a half-day tour featuring the Presidential Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral (outside only), and the French-designed Central Post Office.Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Today, journey to My Tho in the Mekong Delta, known for its fertile lands and scenic riverscapes. Cruise the Mekong River, visiting local islands, coconut candy factories, bee farms, and the iconic Vinh Trang Pagoda.
